In Queensland, any person injured as a result of the negligence of another is entitled to be compensated for not only their injury, but also for any loss of past or future income, medical expenses including anticipated future expenses and in some cases for the care and assistance they need with activities of day-to-day living. In the majority of cases the person at fault will have some level of insurance cover, to make sure that you are properly compensated because of their negligence.
