How long until my case can be settled?

No two cases are ever the same. There are many variables which determine how long it will take for your case to reach a point where it is capable of reaching a settlement. Once that stage is reached, it is a matter of finding out a date and a time when you and your lawyer and the insurer and their lawyer can meet to discuss a possible settlement of your claim at the “compulsory (settlement) conference”.

The majority of claims do settle at the compulsory conference or within a couple of weeks after the conference.
