Peter PitcherSolicitor
Peter commenced legal practice in South Africa in 1982 as a partner in his own practice focusing on Commercial Property and Family Law. In 2001 he immigrated to New Zealand where he was employed by the Ministry of Economic Development within the Insolvency and Trustee Service as an Insolvency Manager. In April 2005 Peter was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW as a Legal Practitioner after completing the conversion of his South African legal qualifications via the University of NSW in Armidale. 2006 saw Peter emigrate from New Zealand to Australia where he took up practice in Victoria focusing on Commercial and Family Law, before moving to WA where he moved his focus entirely to Family Law. Peter is happily married to his wife Kerry and together they have a daughter, Tegan. In his spare time Peter enjoys playing golf and over the years, has been known to be an avid road runner completing a number of marathons and ultras, including South Africa's Comrades Marathon (90km) on four occasions. In the future, Peter hopes to run the Melbourne Marathon. |
